Hmm... 7 years I think. Don't get fooled by this profile page, I've had at least two other accounts before this one, hehe... ;>
What does your username mean?
About 5 years ago, I wanted to "reboot" my internet identity. It's around the same time I decided I wanted to become a professional digital artist. I needed a simple, catchy name that I felt comfortable using anywhere... So I took a word I liked the sound of in swedish: nejlika. It means clove ( the spice) in english. Then I just anglified it so it would sound like an english word... and NEYLICA was born.

Uhm.... ambitious/kind/careful?
Are you left or right handed?
Right handed. One day I want to learn drawing with my left as well.
What was your first deviation?
This is the earliest one I could find, haha!

Digital fantasy art. ♥
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Hmm.. watercolour painting, I think. Or 3D modeling. :>

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
I'm very picky with what I add to my favs. I tend to add inspiring sci-fi/fantasy art that has a quality level that I strive for myself. (:
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
It must be sandara . Her work has inspired me very much throughout the years, and may have been one big reason to why I wanted to become a professional artist!
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Probably

Hm, I would probably say 
because she's a great artist and I look up to her a lot! Her journals about artist struggles have been really helpful in motivating me and has helped me keep going when times are rough. Thank you Suzanne! <3

Photoshop + wacom, definitely! But I enjoy creating art with traditional tools as well.

Nothing beats the comfort of sitting at my own big desk and double monitors. That's my creative sanctuary. 
I do get a lot of inspiration from nature, but haven't found a comfortable way to paint digitally outdoors yet. : P

It's still the most faved/viewed/commented deviation I have, people seem to enjoy it a lot, which makes me really happy! It deserves a remake though.

Hii all you lovely people who are watching me! 
There are actually 100 of you now and that makes me happy! I really hope you like what I post here and I'm always happy to see comments and favs from you guys! :3 And don't worry - there won't be any journal spams from me, I'm really bad at writing journals at a regular rate, so this one will be floating on my page for quite a while from now on. : P I'm much better at producing art than journals, aaand I guess (hope) that's why you're watching me sooo.. : D
Hmm.. maybe I whould write some stuff about me? Well, I'm studying art and design in Stockholm right now, in my last year of upper secondary school aaand I've just applied for several universities which means I'll most likely begin studying game graphics after this summer. *_* I'm so excited!!!! I always knew I would be working visually and creatively with something when I grew up (I wanted to be an illustrator in pre-school already hehe) and I believe working with games would suit me perfectly. Games are like the perfect mix of entertainment, visual narrative, music/sound, story and interactivity ♥ That or illustration of some kind would be awesome! ^-^
Speaking of games... Have you played anything good recently? I have like this huge list of games I want to play.. aaargh. : P Dishonored, Syndicate and Tomb Raider being high on the list. I guess I spend a liiiittle too much time playing games instead of painting hehehe.. But I've been working hard now in the latest weeks to submit AT LEAST one painting each week. Preferably more. And all faves, views and comments are very encouraging! : D
Anyway, if you want to ask me something or maybe suggest a theme for my next painting, then go ahead!
What would you like to see me paint next? Dragoooons? Moar environments? Any specific fan art perhaps? ^^
